Amouage - Meander in general
Meander is Amouage at its softest and most restrained. A hazy, green-floral composition built around frankincense, carrot seeds and orris that evokes fog rolling over mountains after rain. Peppery top notes give way to a buttery, powdery iris heart before settling into sandalwood and vetiver. It's a skin-hugging scent rather than a room-filler, best suited to those wo want quiet elegance over bold projection.
The Fragrance Folio's take on Amouage - Meander
Meander is one of, if not, my favorite sandalwood fragrances. It is clean, woody and very easy to like. Somehow it brings the image of driftwood laying on a dried up beach to my mind. This was one of the main reasons I got into Amouage and it is quickly becoming one of my most worn perfumes. It's versatility is unmatched in the Amouage line (except maybe for Reflection Man).
