BDK Parfums - Gris Charnel Extrait in general
The richer, more concentrated sibling to BDK's cult-favourite Gris Charnel. This Extrait leans into a creamy fig and Iris heart, wrapped in cardamom, black tea and warm sandalwood. Vanilla and patchouli in the base add a smoky, ambered roundness that feels distinctly Parisian. Soft luxury rather than loud. A gourmand-adjacent choice for fans of iris, sandalwood and fig fragrances who want more depth and longevity than the original EDP offers.
The Fragrance Folio's take on BDK Parfums - Gris Charnel Extrait
When I smell this fragrance it transports me to the fall. Leaves have started falling from the trees, the ground covered in green and orange. It is still warm enough to sit outside at a cafe, but you order a cool weather drink anyway. A chai latte would be my drink of choice in this scenario. Gris Charnel Extrait is the embodiment of the cozy season. Warm, soft but very classy at the same time.
